Every minute time spent waiting for the computers in an organization to startup, open applications and waiting for application processes to finish etc. is costing your organization time and money. In many cases this waiting time can be heavily reduced simply by optimizing the resource use of the operating system and removing malicious software (viruses, ad-ware, spy-ware). We offer to perform this optimization to make sure your organization is not wasting money unnecesarily by not having the computers in a good shape.
How it works
When you decide to use our service you will be given an appointment where a technician will connect remotely to your computer and perform the optimization, the time for performing the optimization varies with the computer hardware but is estimated to take around 1 hour. After the optimization is completed you will receive a report of all the actions that has been taken to speed up your computer(s) and a list of all the malicious software that was removed during the process.
The optimization process can be broken down into these steps:
1 Malicious software removal - We will remove the viruses*, ad-ware and spy-ware that is found in the computer.
2 Startup optimization - We will consult you as to what software is really needed to be included in the autostart process, many times there are unused software that starts automatically and is constantly consuming valuable system resources.
3 Service optimization - In many cases the services turned on by default in the operating system is never used, disabling the unused services will free up system resources.
* We cannot guarantee that we are able to fix all serious virus infections such as certain rootkits etc. within the standard offer. If a such a serious infection is found we will contact you with a new offer based on the severity of the infection.
Requirements
- Operating system: Any Windows Operating System.
- The computer must have a working Internet connection.
- During the time of the optimization a user with administration priviliges must be used.
- The computer will be occupied during 1-2 hours during the optimization process.
Pricing
